Some days....well....can get pretty muddy....especially if your name is Kolton. It had been raining for several days. Finally the sun shined down on us and I sent everyone outside to play and next thing I see is Kolton wallowing in the mud! The other three were standing around him as if saying to themselves, "Hmmm, should I do it too?"

Keaton read his own poem that he wrote himself and then he read his favorite poem from a book.
Caris read her poem too!

Here we are at our lovely Valentine Tea Party. The tables were beautifully decorated. We had heart-shaped peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and hand-dipped chocolate strawberries. The kids remembered all their manners. Then the children got up and read their poems. It was simply lovely.

Here is Cashtyn listening to her big brother read.

Reading is so much fun especially when you have a "big dog" as your comfy reading chair!

Even the kitties loved the boxes!

We were going to make Cashtyn a kitty Valentine box, but changed it to love bug because she is such a love bug. She is always ready with a hug and a kiss. So, so lovable...

Kolton is in love right now with "big cats." He especially is crazy for lions. So hence, his Valentine's box had to be a lion. And we're not "lion" he did a great job.

Here is Keaton's Valentine box. He chose an alien theme this year with his Unidentified Friendly Object. He even made a spaceship for his alien to ride in.

We love making our Valentine's boxes and homemade Valentine's Day. Everyone chooses their theme and we get right to work.
